#37 At Night

In just the 3 months we were together, I thought I was in love. He made me feel special when we were together. But after the first 2 months we started to drift apart. I hardly saw him and we didn't talk. He really didn't make any attempts to try and be with me, so I broke it off.

Even though he treated me wrong, I still and will always love him. It left me with a hole in my heart.

At night I lay and think of you hoping my wishes and dreams come true
At night I wonder can this be the end is this all that's left
At night I wish we could go to the way things were
At night I lay and cry about the things that happened and how it all ended
At night I lay and think of us, I mean you and I
At night I realize there's no more us
At night I dream of us together again
At night I wish for us to be together again
But in the morning I realize it was all

this was a really great poem and very touchy! this persom must of had very deep fealings for this boy. and thats y i always think alot of boys arent worth it because you give them your heart and they just throw it away. this poem is great this person is a great poet and should use her talent to express her fealings more often! when ever i am broken hearted i think this poem will come to me like the blink of an eye! well done this poem is great and im sure that alot of other people would have been touched by this poem just like i was. i hope i see more poems written by this person more often! i am voting for this poem because it touched me in so many ways. it touched me because a lot of things that were said i do, i think about this one guy at night cuz he did me wrong he told me he was not ready for a relayionship but yet he got a girl. so, i still like him and all and i think about him a lot but like the poem said i guess it was just a dream.

I was searching for a poem to help me cope with my disorganized feelings, when i came across this poem. i wanted to cry to release my feelings. and when i read the title I thought to myself "At night is when all my feelings come out and it's 1:00 am right now so this would be apropriate" I really likeed what i read and it made me remember my "ex" so to speak and well i cried. but thats a good thing. I feel like i have a conection with it now, i love this poem.
