This poem is about my 21 year old brother who died 2 months ago in a car accident. I love him so much and even though he's not physically here, he's with me in my heart and my mind.

In My Mind

Somewhere in my dreams tonight
I'll see you standing there
You look at me with a smile
"Life isn't always fair"

You say you were chosen for his garden
His preciously hand picked bouquet
"God really needed me,
That's why I couldn't stay"

It's said to be that angels
Are sent from above
I've always had my angel
My brother - whose heart was filled with love

Wherever the ocean meets the sky
There will be memories of you and I
When I look up at that sky so blue
All I see are visions of you

"While there's a heart in me, you'll be a part of me."

I too lost my brother and it made me think alot of him. You are probably older then me cause I am only 12 but like I siad "I too lost my brother but he was younger than your brother and he died 8 months ago" :'(

My 23 year old brother died in a car accident December. 5,2005 he just had gotten married had a 3 week baby girl when he died so this poem really touched my heart he was my angel too well stay strong.

This poem touched my heart, as i can relate to it pretty well. My favourite cousin was killed in a car crash earlier this year, by a drunk driver. My cousin was 17.

Your poem REALLY got to me. I lost my boyfriend in Feb. of 2005 and it was really hard for me, and it still is.
