  Two or three years ago I was about to lose the company of a very old and dear friend. She was at that time going to emigrate to Australia. It was a time of great sadness for us,we were like brother and sister. I came upon this poem at that time and 'God' it hit all the right buttons! It said all,that I (in my clumsiness) could not say. I Emailed the author and asked his permision (which he graciously granted)to send it to her,she replied saying that it was exactly as she felt too. We are still in touch on a regular basis with it seems no loss of contact. With thanks to this wonderful work. Still FANTASTIC every time I read it.

  i really enjoyed reading this particular poem as i thought it wasn't overly dramatic and romanticised it stayed focussed and reliable. i liked the conception of spirituality, candles are a very sensuous and meditative tool of spirituality and i felt quite uplifted when reading. Maybe, maybe not, that this is what the author had intended, either way a very enjoyable, strong structured no-nonsense poem with life.
