This is a short poem about my feelings for a friend I met on the Internet and although we have never met in person and maybe never will he has become my "best friend." Although it is short and unpolished, it's my feelings.

across the miles
you touched my life,
opened my eyes, and
filled my empty heart-

strangers, yet friends,
our spirits reach out,
always touching, never apart- -

you in the east,
me in the west,
never together,
never apart- -

I really liked your poem. It describes how I feel about my internet friend. She lives in Trinidad and I in South Carolina. We have been friends for almost 3 years now. I went to see her in Tampa, Fla this past July 2002. We had a wonderful time together and found out how much we really care for each other.
