  This poem touched me so much. It has happened to me before years ago and just recently happened to me again. Same person but even though I didn't get too close to him this time, it still hurt so bad. I ended up working with him and when he left for a transfer, I didn't let anyone see the tears and the ones that did, I came up with an excuse. I don't want him to know how much I'll miss him and I won't burden him with the idea that I still cry and I still miss him just as if it was the first time around. I'd rather keep it to myself, because I always felt invisible in his eyes.
